With more than 25 years of commercial and residential construction experience in the Southeast Region, owner/operators and lifelong friends, Jason Pulliam and Blake Israel have created a trusted customer base that spans decades of under promising and over delivering results and expectations. VIP Paving has the experience, the expertise, and the track record to complete any paving or grading commercial, industrial, or residential need, with precise and timely completion.

Jason Pulliam

Owner/COO

Jason is a lifelong construction industry veteran. He grew up in a family-owned concrete business which he remained a part of until its sale in recent years. Jason obtained a degree in Information Systems from the University of Alabama. Upon graduation, Jason started a prolific career with more than 28 years combined between Command Alkon and Sysdyne Technologies. He held many roles over the years in both sales and operations including more than 20 years in executive leadership both domestically and internationally. His leadership was a key component in growing revenue by more than $100 million during his tenure with Command Alkon. Jason expanded his resume in the last year by joining the asphalt industry in Atlanta as an operations manager learning the business from the ground up. This experience uniquely qualifies Jason as a leader of our team. He possesses big-picture knowledge with daily operational details. Jason is also an avid outdoorsman and college football fan.

Blake Israel

Blake Israel

Owner/CRO

Blake received a degree in Finance from Appalachian State University where he was a letterman on the football team and a member of two Southern Conference Championships. Blake brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our ownership team with over 20 years of experience with Vulcan Materials Company. Blake has more than 20 years in the Atlanta construction market in both the aggregates and asphalt segments. He is a proven leader with more than 10 years of executive leadership experience. This included being targeted to lead the sales efforts and change a culture in the greater Los Angeles area. Blake brings many long-term relationships within the industry and the ability to bring preferred vendor status to VIP paving with many of the large contractors in the area. Blake loves college sports and is an avid golfer.

Alex Robertson

Alex Robertson

Alex is a University of Alabama graduate and enjoys attending Alabama football games. Professionally and personally, he enjoys meeting new people, learning about their needs, and working together towards shared goals. He is very team-oriented and takes a lot of pride in collaborating with others to accomplish big objectives.

Christiana Benfield

Christiana Benfield

Christiana serves as the Vice President of Preconstruction at VIP Paving, bringing over 10 years of experience in estimating, strategic planning, and project leadership. She works closely with clients, developers, subcontractors, and internal teams to deliver accurate, competitive bids and ensure projects are positioned for successful execution from the start. With a coaching-driven leadership approach, Christiana focuses on clarity, accountability, and proactive problem-solving throughout the preconstruction process.



Outside of work, she enjoys lake days with her husband, two kids, and their rescue dog, Cheese, as well as hosting game nights with friends and family.

Mary Kathryn Evans

Mary Kathryn Evans

Mary Kathryn is a graduate of The University of Alabama and a former Alabama Cheerleader, bringing a dynamic and well-rounded perspective to the construction industry. She leverages a diverse background to support collaboration and strong client relationships. Drawing on experience across multiple industries, Mary Kathryn is focused on delivering dependable results and building lasting client partnerships. Outside of work, she enjoys shopping and spending time with her dog, Bear.

Ben

Ben Williams

Ben brings 17 years of experience in construction and paving, combining hands-on expertise with strong adaptability and problem-solving skills. He is known for working well in team-oriented environments where clear communication and collaboration drive success. Ben values a positive atmosphere built on shared goals, accountability, and mutual respect.

Before beginning his career in construction, Ben was drafted out of high school by the Seattle Mariners as a shortstop. That experience helped shape his discipline, work ethic, and competitive mindset—qualities he continues to apply to every project he takes on.
